Alemeshet Tkleyohanse is the Founder of Abenezer Children's Home (ACH) and she is also currently serving as Board of Directors. Mrs. Tkleyohanse has been helping children all her life in one way or another. She is a mother of 4 children she is loved and respected member of the community. She has lived most of her lifetime in Ethiopia seeing the need and the opportunity to make a different so as her life took her to United State of America she moved with this vision in her heart to help those poor and orphan children that she used to see on the street almost day to day bases.
She sent her on money to help this kids on the holydays buying them closes and shoes and also on the start of school year to help with there educational materials and money for school. She helped the all with out the consideration of the childes religion, sex, race and or there cause of being orphans. She is known for putting spared money and resources on the side to send to these orphan children, but she never was satisfied with the work she was doing and has done and always wanting to do more. This is how ACH was borne With Mrs. Tkleyohanse and the help and support she received from her Late husband Bejiga Negewo.
ACH has been making a different in these orphans children life science May, 2005. These twenty children wouldn't have known what love and care was without the Abenezer Children’s Home (ACH). The project is no longer doable with a little support we have received from friends of ACH and families. The Government of Gebreguracha; it is 155 km north of Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia, wants ACH to do more and also to help more orphan children. We have been given forty kids by the Government but  currently we can only care and support twenty children. We won’t be able to do what we are need to do unless we have you to count on.
